Beware shyster LILITINO on eBay

I bought a 1985 280SE Euro that he claimed was "absolutely perfect". This is the third car I have bought on e Bay and I sold one there, so I know it's important to be very clear about expectations. To that end I had a very long phone conversation with him before bidding. A few of the lies: he said (on the phone and in the listing) that the car was registered until April of 2009, not true, it's registration had expired December 2008 BUT he somehow put a bogus 2009 sticker on it. I had to pay back registration fees, new registration fees and late payment penalties. He said there was only one minor dent in the car, visible in the pictures on the RF door. Not true, that was the least of the dents, there were numerous small to medium ones which had been badly hand painted with mismatched paint...cost me $875 to take them out (not including the RF door). He said the tires were at 40% so I figured I had a year left on them...they were legally bald. He said he was a MB mechanic (haha) and everything on the car was perfect, not true, it needed about $800 worth of work. A couple of this guys other techniques included spray painting the wheels, exhaust tips and suspension bits...makes the car really look new in the pictures, but when you get up close and see the overspray on the tires you feel kind of robbed and realize that paint won't last more than a few months. I offered him the car back, he said he wanted to work something out and make me happy (haha). We finally agreed on him giving me back a measly $250 (I figured I could buy new tires)...he strung me out for 6 weeks with "the checks in the mail" ,"I had a fire at my house", "I'm sending it Western Union" and finally "I sent it 2 Day Mail and here's the tracking number". Needless to say it was a bogus tracking number, Emailing a fake USPS tracking number takes a lot of nerve! Which is why I think it's fair to call him a pathological liar.
