I've been modeling and selling Hooters memorabilia on eBay for 5 years now but in the last 3 months, eBay's policy department has been ending my auctions citing "Adult Material". However, when you read your "Adult Material" policy, my listing clearly doesn't violate the policy. I do not use nudity or suggestive poses- simply modeling Hooters stuff in a very G-rated way. Once my bids get high enough, my competitors get ticked off and report my auctions, which eBay blindly violates and ends with no merit whatsoever. When I finally got fed up and contacted a supervisor, the supervisor agreed that the auctions were wrongly ended and authorized me to reinstate them as well as apologizing for the inconvenience. Well just when I thought everything was better and it was all a misunderstanding, the VERY NEXT MORNING I received a notice of account suspension for "recent policy violations". You cannot reach customer service by phone and turnaroud time on emails is a joke. Even then, responses to your emails are automatically generated and do not address your inquiry by any stretch of the imagination. If you're just a buyer, eBay is fine (assuming you won't need customer service at any point). But eBay is progressively bullying their sellers out of existance. I have 5 years of 100% feedback and 90% of my auctions donate to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Very sad.
