I ordered a light fixture from LightingCatalog.com on 12/23/08. Item was shipped direct from manufacturer (as I was told). I was not told plant (Minka Lavery) was shut down for 2 weeks around Christmas. After many frustrating emails and phone contacts with Lighting Catalog, I was finally told item shipped on 1/29/09. Then the item was lost in shipping. Finally received it on 2/17/09. When I received the light, there were no light glass/fixtures with the package (only the mounting fixture). There was supposed to be lighting glass with the package. Again I have been in contact with Lighting Catalog and I was told they will look into it. Still waiting for some word from Lighting Catalog as to how this will be handled - almost 2 weeks now. It is not looking good. PayPal was used for this purchase and have failed in helping with this issue. So much for making safe purchases thru PayPal!
