MagicJack phone service - not my kind of magic!

February 16, 2009 - My experience in dealing with customer service for the new internet phone service known as the MagicJack. The magic is that they are getting away with lousy (or more accurately) NO customer service. As a female businessperson the sales rep insisted on addressing me as 'dear' ! All my questions were given short sentence, and occasionally one word answers. The sales rep had very limited information about the product and did not come across as technically savvy and most certainly not professional. Unless their marketing and customer service strategies experience a major upgrade, in my humble opinion they won't last long in our tech savvy environment. My suggestion concerning this product and company - BE CAUTIOUS.
