This is exactly what they are doing to me. I have been a customer for 5 months and I have spent at least 3 days of each month on the phone and it does NO Good! they still say I owe a payment that I have receipts for. From all the horror stories I have read about DirectTV on this site I have learned to not trust anything they say. If you correspond with them do it by Email that way you will have a record. I have called my credit card co and told them to put a note on my account Not To Accept Any Charges from Direct TV. If they have your bank or credit card# you may want to do this too.They will cancel your service and charge your account $300+ dollars for early cancellation. and any other charges they can come up with.they will not ask they just do it! then you have lost your money! Please tell everyone you know just how dirty Direct TV is! This will lose them customers and money!!
