Terrible experience with Vayama!

I made reservation online to travel to Russia for myself. I planned to travel there with my child. The customer service department notified me that the ticketing department would have to contact me to approve the infant's fare since you can't do the infant booking online the following day. They also told me that the infant fare is 10-15 % of the adult fare. The next day I had to call MYSELF TWICE to inquire about my booking since I would not get any calls or emails about my reservations. Only after I talked to Kellan who marked my booking as urgent for reply I was contacted by the ticketing department. That was already past 6 pm the day after I made the reservation.When I expressed my concern over my booking, I was asked if I would like to cancel my booking. What kind of Customer Service is this? Later that day I was told by Nicole from the Ticketing Department that the infant fare is $388.15 while my adult fare is $1366.60. How come $388 could be 10% of $1366? It turns out that the infant ticket is actually calculated differently. But for some reason they failed to let me know of this fact when I talked to them initially. As far as I am concerned, I was deceived and this is absolutely a scam. When I tried to contact the manager or supervisor over the phone to discuss this issue, I was told that there were no managers there at the moment. I was told that a certain manager called Mary would contact me the next day. I was contacted by nobody. In addition, Vayama still charged me a Service fee. Do not use VAYAMA!!!

Planning a flight back to Malaysia from the US. I logged into the Vayama account 3 weeks before my scheduled flight just to follow up how everything is going. There were iteniary changes that I was not informed of. The worst part was the changes made it IMPOSSIBLE to catch the flights (connecting flight leaving airport BEFORE the initial flight!). Called 5 times already at least. Promised callbacks, NEVER got them. I wish there was somewhere we can official complain to. AVOID VAYAMA. They MIGHT have SLIGHTLY cheaper flight tickets, BUT ITS ALWAYS a bad choice to go with them.

Unless you enjoy deplorable customer service and needless drama in your life, book with any other travel provider . Flight changes, interminible waits on hold, and guess what ...they never actually issued a ticket...which I found out at the airport check-in. AVOID VAYAMA

You either going to read and learn from it or you will end up regreting why you bought your ticket at Vayama.com! This is no joke! The so-called customer service, has nothing to offer to you that it could call service. You are going to stay on hold for a very long time, they will pick up the phone, and pretend that they don't hear you, so you can give up and hang up. It happened to me several times! I always talked to the same guy, and I have called them more than 6 times so far.
I made a huge mistake that I purchased my ticket from VaYAMA. I'VE bought tickets before through Expedia, travelocity, kayak, studentuniverse, and etc, I never had any problems. With Vayama you shouldn't expect anything unless drama!
